On September 13, 2022, we had the great pleasure of attending the opening of the common room at the new Appleseed Drive affordable housing location in Antigonish.

NEW SC FEDERATION NGO LIAISON

Sisters of St. Martha are members of the Sisters of Charity Federation. One aspect of the Federation is having status as an NGO (non-governmental organization) at the United Nations. Each member Congregation of the SC Federation appoints someone to be the liaison person with the UN NGO Representative. Since 2009, Sr. Marion Sheridan has been that person for the Sisters of St. Martha, Antigonish. She completes her time in the role at the end of June 2022.
